However, it is our duty to you as our client that your claim is not settled too early and for too low a figure. We need to ensure that you know what the long term prognosis for your recovery is before your claim can be settled as you only have "one bite of the cherry"

On average, most claims are settled within 12 to 18 months, although some straightforward claims where liability is admitted early on and injuries are minor can settle within 6 to 9 months.
